Auto Blanking CNC System

Auto Blanking CNC System

Automated Blanking Feeder or a CNC Punching System is designed to automatically feed sheet metal into a press station to punch holes or cut out shapes (blanks) in a repetitive pattern.

Key Components

Wire Feed System: The horizontal rollers on the left pull the wire from a spool and straighten it before it enters the forming area.

Forming Slides: The various mechanical arms and tools arranged in a circular pattern in the centre. These hit, bend, and cut the wire to create specific shapes.

CNC Control Panel: The screen and keypad on the right. This allows the operator to program dimensions like pitch, diameter, and number of coils.

Tooling Area: The "heart" of the machine where the wire is forced against mandrels and coiling points.

The Press Station

C-Frame Structure: The main body is a robust "C-frame" design.

Actuator/Cylinder: The large cylinder on top is likely a hydraulic or pneumatic ram that drives the punching tool down with high force.

Tooling Assembly: the cylinder, you can see the guided ram assembly where the punch and die would be mounted.

Base & Frame

The entire system is mounted on a welded steel frame (blue square tubing) for rigidity.

Levelling Feet: The yellow/grey pads at the bottom are adjustable levelling mounts, essential for keeping the machine stable and vibration-free during operation.

High-volume perforation: Blanking for mass production.

Blanking: Cutting out flat shapes (like washers or brackets) from a larger strip of metal.

The Feeding Mechanism (Lift Right - Table & Rail System)

Gripper Assembly: There is a distinct row of grey blocks with small motors or pneumatic cylinders on top. These are sheet grippers (clamps) that hold the edge of the metal sheet securely.

Linear Motion System: The long grey beam and the rails on the blue frame indicate a linear actuator system. This moves the grippers back and forth (and likely left to right) to position the sheet metal precisely under the punch for every stroke.

Specializing in advanced industrial automation, we design and manufacture high-performance machinery that drives modern production lines.

From robust Auto Blanking Feeders capable of handling heavy-duty sheet metal operations to intricate, customized assembly mechanisms for precision component handling, our solutions are built for speed, accuracy, and longevity. We bridge the gap between raw mechanical power and intelligent motion control, ensuring that your manufacturing process is not just automated, but optimized.

Sheet Metal: The rendering shows a sheet with a grid of holes already punched, illustrating the "blanking" or perforating process.

Support Table: The blue table features a plate with a grid of holes, which might house ball transfers (to let the heavy sheet slide easily) or allow punched scrap to fall through.
